This film is LotusFilms' first official project. Shot over a 3 month period in 2002, this visionary documentary film covers the flood of homeless people in a small San Diego suburb.
The film covers various types of homeless, showing every aspect of the homeless community. People will watch this film and have very different opinions about the content. Some images are disturbing, while others may make you laugh or cry. You may feel sympathy, outrage, or disgust. One thing is for sure however, after watching the film, you will never look at homeless people the same again...
In July 2002, Surviving The Streets debuted on the big screen at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA via the New York International Film & Video Festival (NYIFF).
